The N23D-64206-3 cylinder is approved for replacement of cylinder P/N 64206-3 and D17851-27 from Zodiac/Air Cruisers and cylinder P/N B64206-3 from AmSafe. The N23D cylinder is manufactured to the same DOT specification as the Zodiac/Air Cruisers 64206-3 and D17851-27 cylinders and AmSafe B64206-3 cylinder. The construction is of an aluminum liner, wrapped with impregnated Carbon fibers, and covered with a fiberglass protective layer. The N23D-64206-3 cylinder is eligible for installation into the Zodiac/Air Cruisers Evacuation Slide on the Airbus and Boeing aircraft and Zodiac/Air Cruisers Evacuation Slide/Raft on the McDonnel Douglas aircraft.
